Hi to everybody, this is my experience on amisulpride.
I am distymic, with low energy, aphaty, aenergy, no desires and will, all negative symptoms.
I need a med that could give me boost and energy, so i thought i must try with Ammisulpride.
In fact Amisulpride should counteract negative simptoms in dep.
I was on Amis for about 10 days at 50 mg/d, i felt no side effects, but i felt day by day loosing all my left enrgy, wills and desires.
Last days I stand in bed geting a sort of dsperation in my thought and wiew of the life.
So, of course, i stopped med and in few days my situation got better, a little more energy slowly rise from my dept. Now i do not see my life in "pink" but not anymore totally in "black".

As a fellow dysthymic I'm always interested in reading reports of both success and failure in the treatment of dysthmia.

Sorry about your failed trial on amisulpride. Some people do have a response to Sulpiride when they do not have one to Amisulpride though.
Other ideas for you to try are bromocriptine (serotonergic as well as dopaminergic); Mirapex (pramipexole) - useful for anhedonia and negative symptomatology; perhaps even Lamictal as a dopaminergic med.
