I live in the U.S. & have Cigna Point of Service health insurance. From what I have heard Cigna is notorious for refusing to cover certain medications (they recently refused the anti-arthritis drug Vioxx for my dad even though he met all the criteria & diagnoses for it.
Since Provigil at this time is only FDA approved for narcolepsy, will they cover provigil if my diagnosis is Major Depression w/ Social Phobia, & Attention Deficit Disorder?
Also, anyone have any stories about Cigna rejecting any of their psychiatric drugs?
