I have recently started taking 100mg of Wellbutrin in addition to my regular (275mg) dose of Effexor, to give me a bit more energy. When should I begin to experience the stimulating properties of the Wellbutrin?

You may be able to feel it once you reach steady-state concentrations of it:
"Steady-state plasma concentrations of bupropion and metabolites are reached within 5 and 8 days, respectively."

Yes but also once the side effects if any that you experience subside. Took 3 weeks for me. Once they stopped I experienced the stimulating effects.

Thanks for the post, John. I am actually beginning to experience the stimulating effects after having taken it for 5 days now. The side effects have not yet disappeared, however. I am still a bit anxious and agitated. I plan to hang in there for a while, though, since these side effects are more mild this this time around. Last time I tried using it as a monotherapy and experienced terrible anxiety and agitiation.
