I am 44 and was experiencing severe PMDD. I was miserable 3 weeks out of the month. Severe anxiety, cramps two weeks before, severe headaches, hated my husband, couldn't handle my kids or housework. Two weeks before Xmas, I left for three days. Went to doctor and he prescribed Sarafem. Immediately started feeling like a human again. During PMS all I could think about was dying. Now, this period, a little nervous, a little quiet but almost completely myself again. No more severe anxiety, bitchiness and bad headaches (only one bad headache day before my period. I hope it continues to help me. I didn't know how I was going to get through the rest of my life until menopause. How is everyone else doing on this stuff?

You may be interested in all of the Prozac posts...I believe they are the same medication.
