Amisulpride vs Zyprexa

Posted by Denise528 on January 2, 2002, at 8:01:01

Does Amisulpride work in the same way as Zyprexa and does anyone know where I can get it from? (Amisulpride that is)

The Zyprexa helped me somewhat but seemed to completely leave me bereft of any emotions.

Thx....Denise

Amisulpride is different from Zyprexa in that Zyprexa is serotonergic. Amisulpride is completely and cleany dopaminergic. Thus, Zyprexa could be used for depression/dysthymia/CFS/bipolar--Amisulpride is only for schizophrenia/dysthymia.
