Hi,
Does anyone have an amazing prozac success story that they want to share with me and the rest of the board !??? Also Does prozac help with social anxiety?Thanks,

Got a success story here! Prozac has helped me wonderfully for my OCD... I started taking it last January, and have been doing great... I wasn't able to look outside when riding the bus etc because I would always see all those things to check on... but after about 2 weeks or so on Prozac, maybe even 1 1/2, it felt like the streets were suddenly cleaned and I could open my eyes... also, I am not angry all the time anymore.. I used to be so overwhelmed... and hardly any side effects.

Hi, I'm on the hunt for a good anxiolytic med, I got a few tip from this board, anyway, Prozac didn't help my social anxiety.

hi...
i started prozac after dsiliking effexor (weird side-effects) and desperately needing something after a suicide attempt--i was miserable, had tried both paxil and effexor woth no successs. prozac gave me a backbone and a little verve, it was like nothing else, especially in combination w/ klonopin. prozac turened me from aweak lil bunnyrabbit into a confident adult seal :)
my pdoc calls prozac the "gold standard" of AD's....in addition, the prozac helped to quell my social anxiety...but it was really much more helpful in conjunction with a benzo (klonopin).

i hate to bum on your positive note, but prozac hasnt been gold for me. ive had a never ending constant dull thudding in my head since i started it, and pain killers dont do anything. it also sedates the hell out of me. but i have friends that its worked miracles on, so as the PB motto goes, your mileage may vary.
