Just heard that Zyban is *white* !
I had to give up Wellbutrin way back in '93 due to a "fixed drug reaction" (semi-permanent skin blotches, eventually faded.)
Since then, have gone on Dexedrine (among other things.) IYHO, would there be any reason to consider Zyban?
Or have I far surpassed buprion (sp), vis a vis precious dopamine, with Dex?
Thanks!
Nostalgic,
Zo

This is JUST A GUESS, since Zyban and Wellbutrin are supposed to be the SAME ... maybe Wellbutrin is just Zyban with pink dye/coloring?
I'd suggest discussing this with your pdoc.
Good luck, Janelle

Zo - Zyban and Wellbutrin SR are EXACTLY the same drug (bupropion), made in the same vat, with all of the same side effects. In Canada, the only difference is the ink imprint (one says Zyban and the other says Wellbutrin).
If you want dopamine stimulation without the bupropion side effects, you will have to take a different stimulant.
