I have been taking Nardil (an MAO) for several years as it was the ONLY medication that has seemed to help my depression.Tried Prozac, Paxil, Trycyclics, and all the rest. I had to come off of the Nardil for medical reasons and my MD started me on a med called Remeron. Been taking it for about 2 weeks (started out on 30MG a day) for about 2 weeks and feel like crap, Now he bumped the Remeron up to 45 MG's per day and added Effexor (XR) capsules. Has anyone seemed to have any luck going down a similar route? Hopefully someone had a positive reaction they can speak of. I HATE this lousy feeling.

Effexor + Remeron = that "power" combination that Dr. Stahl said could be more effective than ECT: http://www.dr-bob.org/tips/split/Mixing-antidepressants.html
