I am sorry I did not see your earlier response, as I am new to this. I am wondering why you feel celexa is the culprit..?

Hey Sherry,
Only because a lot of bipolar specialists feel antidepressants cause instability- I've been on over a dozen and cycled to mania each time within 4-5 days. (If you're bipolar 2, just irritability and trouble sleeping qualify for hypomanic symptoms. Now that's my experience, others have been successful with SSRI's etc, I have a real tough rapid cycling bipolar 1 disorder and now only go to the top bipolar dawgs who wouldn't let me get within 10 feet of an AD.
This is the end of the thread.
