Anyone taken it for the singular type ? How did you fare? I've read alot of past posts for Lamictal but all seem to be the Bipolar type.
Well anyway, if you are or did take it for unipolar, what can you say about your experience?
Thanks,
Tom

> TomTom, I took lamictal, along with nardil and it was very successful for me for unipolar depression. You might want to look lamicatal up in depression central, there is a lot of information and studies listed. shellie

Hi Tom,
I take a relatively small dose (100mg) of Lamictal for unipolar depression. I've been taking it for three years, with various other antidepressants. I love this med -- really helps me with mood swings, anxiety, and with the anguished kind of depression. It did take 12 weeks to fully work, tho I'm probably the exception.

I haven't taken it but it was on the list of next steps that my pdoc recommended. He says he has a number of patients (with depression alone) who have had success with it.
This is the end of the thread.
