Any info. on Tianeptine and or Requip

Posted by natg on October 26, 2000, at 13:32:34

hi,
I'm new to the board and find this place wonderful and extremely informative.

Trying to find information on Tianeptine and Requip. Has anybody had experiences, good or bad, with either one of them.
Thanks.

Hi, I just ordered Requip, and I'm wandering what is the dosage for augmenting ineffective antidepressant.

About Tianeptine, it's great, works well with Topamax if you can tolerate it.

Hi.

Could either of you tell me what Requip. is? Never heard of it.

Please keep us posted as to your progress-Tianeptine is a drug I am also interested in.

Can either of these drugs be bought without a prescription? D'ya know where?

Ta,
Jah.

Requip (Ropinirole) is a dopamine receptor which is similar to Pramipixole (Mirapex). It has high affnity for the D2 sub family of dopamine receptors and higher binding affinity to D3. D3 is involved with mood.
I heard that Mirapex can be helpful in treatment resistant depression. I'm thinking about Requip because it is the same, I believe. I know it is also cheaper and you can get it w/out a prescription (xxx)

I know Tianeptine can be bought from xxx without a prescription.

Good Luck with the Rebox. and Adrafinil.

Dosing schedule 4 Requip, Pramipexole Piracetam?

Could anyone suggest a dosage schedule for trialling the drugs mentioned above (i.e. dose, duration of trials, possible order)? I am treating resistant dysthymia+social phobia.

Would they mix with Sulpiride OK? I am keen to hang on to this for its anxiolytic properties.

Are there any other drugs that might successfully augment the above?

Thanx in advance,

Jah.

Requip is a new Parkinson's medication. My father took it for Parkinson's and the first few days it helped reduce him tremors. After that had mild hallucinations and altered mental status so he had to discontinue it.
