man! who in the world would want to have a premature ejaculation. I mean, what's you're hurry?John
PS, on a more serious level, if you are having premature ejaculations, you might want to try using a condom, or taking trazodon, or both.

I think that Paxil is now prescribed sometimes for premature ejaculation.
My experience with Paxil is that on 20mg (the standard dose) I can't orgasm at all. With half dose (10mg) I can sometimes get there eventually, but 5mg (quarter dose) delays orgasm by a comfortable amount.
I don't know how this would translate to Effexor doses, but try half or a quarter of the usual minimum dose.
With Paxil it takes about 3 days before this side effect kicks in.
