I am an adult with ADD. I have been on 60 mg of Ritalin fo almost two years. I also have been taking Prozac ( 40mg) for the same time.
I am finding myself more depressed than usual and also very sluggish and tired. My Doctor has suggested trying Paxil with the Ritalin.
Can anybody share their experience or comments on this mixture? I need to do something quickly because I do not want to continue felling like this.
Thank you for your time....CSP

CSP, I had very good results overall with 20 mg Paxil and 20-40 mg Ritalin a day.
Have considered going back on it but there were some apathy problems, haven't abated much, and sexual dysfunction. Your mileage may vary.
You might consider adding a low, 7.5mg, dose of Remeron to your current mix first though. Pretty good augmentor; just gotta watch out for the munchies! It also works pretty quickly.
