Since I went from 20 mg to 40 mg a couple of weeks ago I am sleeping very lightly and getting only a few hours sleep a night. Is this a common reaction? What are some ideas, dosages, or medications for dealing with this? Your thoughts are appreciated.

Lorazepam, or Ativan, has also helped me to sleep in the past, though now I am taking 7.5 mg of Remeron each night at bedtime, which is a tetracyclic antidepressant. I by no means am recommending something that you might not need, but I know it does wonders for me sleeping. On Paxil alone, I NEVER felt rested and it was making my anxiety worse.
