Hey Babblers
Does anybody here know how long it takes for a post to actually show up on the board??? It seems like it takes a really long time. An answer would be appreciated.
thanks

Greg, thanks for asking. It is a fairly good day, as a matter of fact. I had a sulky kind of day yesterday, just felt sad and sulky all day. Then came home to find my phone disconnected (Iam late on bill paying, but was not expecting it because I had just recently made a payment. Have to call Bell Atlantic), and that a maintenace guy had been in my apt. while I was at work. What is wrong with this, you may ask. Well, my place is a dump, to the point of complete embarrassment, and potential eviction, I suppose. The only thing clean is the bathroom, which is a recent development. Why did he have to come in without my permission? A running toilet. Am I being overly picky here, or is this a lame reason? I can't decide whether to make an issue of it or not. I am afraid the owner of my unit will be told of the condition of my place and there will be repercussions.
I hate people knowing about it, seeing it. It is so distressing to me to have it in that condition, but with my depression this past year or so, I have lived this awful way.
Anyhow, those two things didn't help my mood, but I managed to get myself to bed at a decent hour and woke up early today and got to work on time, even early, which hadn't happened in months. Usually, it takes me hours and hours in the morning to get going, even though I have been feeling a lot better than I was.
I am tired today, but it hasn't been a bad day afterall. My mood is decent.
Thanks for asking. How are you?

After you post you need to go back to the main screen and "refresh" or "reload" and your post will be there. Things update quickly.

I am feeling okay today..this morning I was feeling kind down...hubby came home from work at midnight (and no he was not working that late! He was out drinking). This afternoon I am feeling much better though, cleaned house and I always feel better when the house is nice and clean.
Noa:
I totally understand how you would feel embarassed by someone seeing your apartment when it is looking bad, and having had ugly depression in the past I also have been where you are right now. I have tried to take some of that negative energy and used it on my house, rather than just sitting there looking at how bad it looks and feeling that much worse. Of course my old house burned down and I live in a brand new house with all brand new stuff in it and it is so so much easier to keep clean (don't ask my why!), perhaps I am just more motivated because everything is new, I don't know. Sometimes when the laundry gets piled up (I have 3 kids living at home) I can feel the motivation just seep right out of my body..sometimes I give in to it and close the door to the laundry room and deal with it later, sometimes I decide to do just a "little" of it and before you know it, its all done.
I think if I won the lottery and didn't have to deal with my grumpy husband I would feel excellent. At the moment I sure can feel myself being dragged down by unhappy he is making me. I try very hard to ignore it and just carry on with my own life, but seriously it isn't that easy.
Oh well...enough whining the blues for me for one day!!
Greg..how are you doing? You weren't feeling so great over the past little while, any improvement??

Duh, I knew that. Sorry Kathie, I think I missed the point of your question... it may have done a fly-by.
