I am taking Celexa for non-depressive Social Phobia. I've been taking 20 mg. for about 8 weeks. The first week or two, it actually worsened my anxiety, but then the improvement started.
My pdoc had me increase the dose to 30 mg. a few days ago, and I seem to have back-tracked, i.e., I'm more anxious again.
Is it normal for the anxiety side-effect to come back with a dosage increase, and then go away after a week or two as it did before?
Thanks.

>Yes. Stick with it; the jitters will wear off. Celexa worked well for me.
