I am currently on 50 mg of Parnate. How fast can I
withdraw without withdrawal symptoms. 10 mg. a day?
10 mg. a week? Please advise. Thanks.

Robert....I'd suggest tapering off over a period of 3 to 4 weeks. If you are not going onto another medication it takes the brain a while to readjust to no medication.

10mg/week sounds reasonable, go back up and try doing it slower if you have problems.
IME, getting off the last 10mg is far more difficult than the rest. I've done it a couple times, and had bad withdrawal symptoms starting 2 days later.

I was on 60 mg of Parnate for over two years and my Pdoc had me quit "cold turkey." I wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea. I posted to pBabble but didn't hear anything that discouraged me.
I had some rather bizarre dreams for a week or so, other than that it was really not eventful. It's been 2 months now so I'm not expecting any remainders.
As a caveat, I only hard a partial response from the Parnate anyway. And of course, YMMV.
