My mother abused "diet pills" throughout her entire pregnancy with both me and my brother. She took doctor prescribed black beauties. I feel there is a connection between that and that fact that my brother and I both are very depressed people. I've tried every antidepressant out there. Finally landing on Wellebutrin, which has worked with minimal side effects but even that isn't working like it was. I'm on 400 mg. a day so I can't increase without increasing the risk. I'm wondering if the chemicals in the drugs she used have anything to do with a lack of chemicals in my brain. When I take speed, I feel okay. I feel happy and like this is where I should be. I don't get an overabundance of energy but I have the will to make a bed and go to work. I don't have these things when I am not taking speed. Does anyone have a similar experience for me?
