SAM-e: Yikes!

Hello friends;
I'd like to ask- has anyone has responded to SAM-e in profoundly unpleasant ways? it's happened to me on this, my 7th day of taking 400mg 1xday. I'm on literally no other drugs (stopped Zoloft 3 months ago), and about 3 hours following today's SAM-e dose I became terribly sedated, confused, clumsy. I'm hoping this is analogous to the initial window of sedation I got on Zoloft before it became wholly activating. Anyone?

ps- Nature Made warns not to take their version too close to bedtime, as it 'may interfere' with rest. Very different from what I'm currently getting..
