Hi everyone: I know that efficacy varies tremendously from person to person, but I am considering switching from Prozac to Celexa. For those of you who have switched from one drug to another, what differences did you notice between the two? Was Celexa's AD effect as strong as Prozac's? Thanks for the feedback. --Lynn

Hi,
Prozac was too "stimulating" for me. Could have been the dosage titration. More prescriptions are being written for lower starting doses. Celexa seemed to be better, probably due to the decrease in agitation/anxiety. Also, didn't seem to have the same negative sexual effective, likely due to Celexa's very specific targeting.
