I appreciate the responses I got to my questions about the problems I'm having with Effexor XR. Instead of asking my doctor to raise the dose, I think I'm going to ask her to change my meds. Besides the symptoms I described in my initial message, I have other side effects: sweating (buckets), dry mouth, EXTREME weight gain (I don't know which is worse - the shaking or the weight gain!), and I can't sleep unless I take the Trazodone. I've tried Paxil, and that did nothing, so I guess it's on to drug #3 -whatever that may be. Thanks again for the help.
