Wayne-I've gone back to February and read everything I can about the Naltraxone augmentation. I had my fourth child seven years ago. Severe PPD. Used doxepin for several years. Weaned off. Still needed something for PMS- went to zoloft, then paxil augmented with depakote. Excellent results, except I ended up with an additional 70 pounds!! Over the last 18 months I have tried serzone (too sleepy), celexa with lamictal , and now paxil with topamax. And still I have this nagging underlying slight depression all the time. I would like to try the Naltraxone 25mg boost. I took the info to my Dr. last week, and I am going to call her first thing tommorrow. I've had it. I am almost 41 and everytime I have a hormonal change, my mood is affected. Yes, it is definitely a life season, however, I do not want to fool with my hormones. Dealing with brain chemistry is difficult enough. Will you, or anyone with any encouraging words, thoughts, suggestions, please write on.... I am feeling so hopeless these days. Thank you Wayne for continuing to support those of us who still need help.

>Sorry I am not Wayne, but have you thought of going on a customized birth control pill. I'm on one. My PMS resembled insanity, and during my ovulation I had anxiety attacks that also reminded me of insanity. Those were the two worst parts of my month, and the rest was a hormone induced roller coaster ride. Good luck, don't give up. I'm much better now on the pill.
