Ive been on 75mg of Effexor since 10-98. I do not have muscle spasms as listed by others however I bruise like you wouldn,t believe. My gyno checked my blood and everything is fine. I do have strange dreams but it has controled my depression. If I forget and skip a day by the next day I start to get irratable and nervous and then I know for sure that I have forgotten. My prescription says to never take more that one pill a day. Im suprised to see others on higher doses. I have never taken anything before but I had a hard time dealing with my feelings and argumensts with my spouse and how I handled that. Please share your experiences. I find this interesting.

Your doc has decided what the proper dose for you is. I've taken 200-475 mgs...it varies but that is the proper dose for me.
